Valentino Rossi has proved once again this season that he is untouchable on two wheel's as he dominated the Moto GP championship from start to finish. He secured the title in Malaysia by winning the race on the last lap to claim his 10th win of the season (a record), and becomes only the 3rd rider in history to win 5 titles in the premier class of Motorcycle racing, winning them all back to back.
These are not just any old machines either. The most powerful bike you might see blasting past you on the motorway or taking your wing mirror off in a traffic jam pumps out around 140bhp and can hit about 180mph from an engine with a capacity of 1000cc. The bikes these guys jump on have 250bhp (which is the same as a Porsche Boxster S) and can hit 210mph...And all this from an engine with a capacity of just 500cc! If all of that means nothing to you it basically means these bikes are fucking quick, and its great to see someone skidding around a corner at 130mph with his back tyre smoking as he tries to get the power down!
With four races in the season left, I would say to anyone that hasn't seen Moto GP before to watch 1 race, because it is not often someone with the amount of skill Rossi has comes around and when they do you can should just sit back and enjoy the show, and admire the way he makes the best riders in the world look like amateurs.
